Magic Touch Vienna

"The Magic Touch", Vienna, Austria. April 13th. Beautiful City, and a beautiful bunch of soulies too! If you're ever in town make sure to visit Jorg's shop, "The Record Shack", which specialises in Northern, 6T's, 70's Soul along with jazz dance and dub tunes too! You can't miss it as he has a scooter parked in the window! The night had x350+ folk in, all out to enjoy themselves from the word go! The dancefloor quickly filled up, as did the bar area! There was also a projection screen showing clips from various NS documentaries hopefully teaching the non-soul folk what it's all about, and maybe a touch of dancefloor etiquette! DJ's for the night included El Mood, Cleethorper, Rare Sugar, Jorg and mein host, Bernhard, with Jo Wallace and myself as guests. A car load of soulies from Munich also made the trip (despite car problems!), so Toni, Philip, Alvin and Benji were all in the house larging it on Austrian beer! A few English face were there too, including Mike Fields who actually lived next door to the venue and was on the dancefloor until the very end....top bloke and I know he wants to say hi to all who remember him!
